Privacy Policy
Version of 29 October 2026. This policy covers the websites afgust.com and afgust.ru and update checks made by GRUVPAKT devices. It is written to meet the Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
Albert Fanuzovich Gubaidullin, individual entrepreneur registered in the Russian
Federation (INN 027806699189, OGRNIP 320028000043625).
Contact: afgust.studio@gmail.com.
2. What we process, why, and for how long
- Web server logs. For every request to the website or the update server, the server records the IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referring page and the browser or device identification. Purpose: running the site, protecting it from attacks and investigating faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working and secure service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are deleted automatically after 15 days at most. We do not try to link an IP address to a person.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. Purpose: replying to you. Legal basis: your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep the correspondence as long as it is needed for the reply and support, or until you ask us to delete it.
3. What we do not do
- No cookies, no visitor analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers.
- The in-browser firmware installer sends nothing from your computer or device: firmware files are downloaded from our server and written to the device directly by your browser. All site files, including the installer's libraries, are served only from our own server.
- We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone, except where the law requires it.
4. Where the data is stored
The websites and the logs are on a rented server located in Russia; by visiting the site you connect to that server directly. The mailbox afgust.studio@gmail.com is provided by Gmail (Google LLC, USA): email you send to it passes through Google's service.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (GDPR Art. 15–21). Write to afgust.studio@gmail.com — we reply within 10 working days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live.
6. Changes
If we start processing any new data, this policy will be updated before we do. The current version is always published on this page.
